
FITNESS PROGRAM
Our in-house Healthy Living activities include a Fitness Program which contributes to the well-being of our Members. The program was initiated with a generous donation from the Lilly Neuroscience Wellness Fund as part of a healthy living collaboration involving Clubhouse Winnipeg, Victoria General Hosptial Mental Health Program and Brandon University Psychiatric Nursing Program. Furthermore, our collaboration was recognized in an award ceremony by the Reh-fit Centre Foundation in 2008. It is commonly recognized that becoming physically fit is also beneficial to our mental and emotional wellbeing.
The Clubhouse Fitness Program is open twice a day most week days (half an hour in the morning session and a full hour in the afternoon). In order to participate in the Fitness Program, we give our Members a form to be filled out by their doctor and returned to Clubhouse. This allows for Members to safely use the equipment and notifies Staff of any exercise limitations that should be considered for each and every Member. The Fitness Program is facilitated by a Staff at all times to ensure the safety of Members.

Monday- 11:25 am - 11:55 am and 2 pm - 3 pm
Tuesday- 11:25 am - 11:55 am and 2 pm - 3 pm
Wednesday- 11:25 am - 11:55 am and 2 pm - 3 pm
Thursday- 2 pm - 3 pm
Friday- 11:25 am - 11:55 am
